The Center for Workforce Preparation and Prince George's Community College Center for Business and Industry Training have formed a program to train and place displaced workers in entry level information technology jobs. Opportunity Skywalk introduces middle and secondary school students to careers in aviation by providing role modeling sessions with professionals and conducting on-site tours. Equal emphasis is placed on flying jobs as on non-flying, aviation-related jobs in electronics, air traffic control, maintenance, computer systems, airport design, management and construction.
