MCSE/Web Database Programming Graduate Certificate George Washington University 20101 Academic Way Ashburn VA 20147-2604 202-496-2275 202-973-1165 Marianne Justus In partnership with the NVRP, GW offers either MCSE prep or Web Programming at 2 Northern VA locations. Courses are evening/weekend with small classes and much hands-on with the industry's most respected faculty. A Professional Certificate is awarded.
MCSE and Web Database Programming Professional Certificates offered in cooperation with the Northern Virginia Regional Partnership. Employee sponsorships and internships are welcome. Leading-edge computer lab with one to one student/computer ratio. Evening/weekend format.

Educational Empowerment Program provides tutoring, computer skills training and career exploration for 14 and 15-year-old residents of the Montgomery County Housing Opportunities Commission (HOC) Family Resource Centers. Job Outreach for Business Solutions (J.O.B.S.) is an all youth group that markets Montgomery Youth Works by discussing workforce needs with local businesses. Participants learn valuable presentation and marketing skills while local industry benefits from the services of Montgomery Youth Works. Provides summer, year round and seasonal job placement for Montgomery County youth.
Fosters the development of partnerships among local associations, superintendents and school boards to create systemic change within local public education systems.
NFTE teaches inner city youth how to start and operate their own small businesses. NFTE's online entrepreneurship learning system, BizTech, teaches basic business concepts and life skills through the use of information technology.

The Center for Workforce Preparation and Prince George's Community College Center for Business and Industry Training have formed a program to train and place displaced workers in entry level information technology jobs. Opportunity Skywalk introduces middle and secondary school students to careers in aviation by providing role modeling sessions with professionals and conducting on-site tours. Equal emphasis is placed on flying jobs as on non-flying, aviation-related jobs in electronics, air traffic control, maintenance, computer systems, airport design, management and construction.
